INSHORE BACKCOUNTRY FISHING DETAILS
The day will begin with a scenic boat ride through the mangrove mazes in famous Charlotte Harbor. Depending on the time of year we may be fishing in beautiful Sarasota Bay or the gin clear waters of Pine Island. The target species will be Redfish, Snook, Tarpon, and Trout. You will also have the opportunity to catch many other species of fish like Jack Crevel, Spanish Mackerel, Shark, Lady Fish, Blue Fish, Mangrove Snapper, Juvenile Grouper, Black Drum, Sheepshead, & Pen Fish. Because we encounter so many different species during an inshore, backcountry, or sight fishing trip, the boat will be fully equipped with spinning and conventional tackle. You will arrive at your charter and find all live wells fully stocked with frisky live baits ranging from Whitebait, Threadfins, crabs, shrimp, Pinfish, Mullet and Ladyfish as well as a wide array of the most productive artificial baits. Captain Heath can adapt to any anglers fishing experience. Whether you are a first time fisherman or a veteran, your day on the water will be a success.
